Toy tiger is the name of the breed, which is a combination of two words: toy and tiger. Despite its appearance similar to a wild animal, the Toyger is a real pet. He is endowed with a balanced character, curious and sociable. It likes to spend time with people, playful, but not annoying.

History of the breed

This breeding breed was bred in America in 1993. The idea of creating a "pocket tiger" first came to Jane Mill, a breeder of Bengal cats. Her daughter, Judy Sugden, who has a construction background, set out to create a cat that looked like a tiger. This is probably the first
breed to be computer-engineered! The International Cat Association registered the Tiger breed in 2007.

Care

The Teuger cat breed is unpretentious in care, healthy and hardy. It is the undemanding nature of the Touger that is the reason for its longevity!

The Touger breed is distinguished by its luxurious fur - thick, but at the same time soft and elastic. You just want to stroke it! The Toyger will gladly accept your affection, because it was created as an ideal companion, undemanding and friendly.

Breeding

The breed is still being developed. Despite the fact that the Toyger is descended from the Bengal cat, mating with Bengals is strictly forbidden. Only representatives with outstanding qualities are selected for the breeding program. All catteries, engaged in breeding the Tiger, work on a single breeding program under the supervision of the author of the breed.
