Toy tiger is the name of the breed, which is a combination of two words: toy and tiger. Despite its appearance similar to a wild animal, the Toyger is a real pet.

The Tonkinese is the result of crossing the Siamese with the American standard Burmese. It has smoother features than the Siamese and a more graceful build than the Burmese.
