Hair length

All cats are divided into long-haired, semi-long-haired, short-haired and naked. The longer the hair, the more time it will take to groom the cat. Long-haired and semi-long-haired cats should be brushed almost every day, short-haired cats should be brushed once a fortnight.

Physiological features

Each cat breed has its own standard, due to various factors. There are breeds for which the fundamental features are unique physiological characteristics not found in cats in general. These are usually fixed by random genetic mutations during breeding.

Character

Character is a quality inherent in the breed as a whole. Siamese cats are known to be very playful and even pugnacious, while Persians are ideal for calm owners. Choose an animal that will easily fit into your rhythm of life. Remember that each cat's character is different, but will somehow conform to the breed standard.
